Baobabooks is pleased to participate in and will be on the podium at the Metafest 2024 conference on 4 April, talking about how the advancements offered by Web 3 can be leveraged for positive impact.
Advancements in digital technologies accessible through Web 3, such as blockchain, crypto-currency and non-fungible tokens, can be used to help advance, support, add value and drive engagement to initiatives for positive impact in the world. Baobabooks, represented by its CEO and co-founder, Peter Nicholson, will talk about how it can harness these advancements by integrating them into its EdTech platform.
"I am very pleased to have the opportunity to participate in a panel at the Metafest 2024 conference and talk about using tech for good," said Peter Nicholson, CEO and Co-founder of Baobabooks. "At Baobabooks, we are leveraging Web 3 to better serve the educational needs of people in underserved communities, in cities and remote locations, while also helping refugees and other groups to remain engaged in their learning journey."
Other panellists include Alvaro Cosi from UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, Max Ward from Libera Consultants, and Arkan Akin from ToroNet who will chair the panel.
Now in its 3rd edition, Metafest blends music, arts and the world of blockchain through themes such as NFT and metaverse, bringing together artists, investors, technologists, crypto companies and the public.
